Here is how you fix this, without reinstalling the whole windows and it can be done in minutes.
Solution:
- Place your Windows 7 disc and boot with it.
- Once installer completes, it will stop at Install Windows 7 and below your will see the REPAIR link.
- Go to Command Prompt.
- Just run the below command and it will restore your boot record.
bootrec /fixboot
